My badass award goes to Sarah...with a double-double game she was amazing. Sarah is a very special player. Honable mention goes to Blanca.

K9 gets my vote as today’s Badass. She hit all 3 shots she took, including 2x3’s, and she was all over the court with 5 rebounds, 6 assists and a steal.

for this game IMO there are 4 candidates for the BA (K9, Sarah, Blanca and CD) and the award goes to (drum roll) Blanca, who was intimidating for the Creighton players, whenever she came close to them.

Some of you guys need to re-read the definition of the Badass. 😉

LOVE me some Caroline Ducharme, but in no galaxy is she ever going to be the Badass of the game unless she becomes part of the core 9 and gets 20+ minutes, changing the complexion of it when she comes into the game, or being the dagger than starts UConn on a huge run and/or helps shut out the other team.

And I say that absolutely loving her, everything she's gone thru, how she has handled herself, and what a tremendous leader she is for the youngsters on the team. She BLEEDS UConn blue and will always be a beloved Husky...

Gotta give it to Blanca. Score was like 10-10 in Q1, Blanca came in and suddenly Q1 ended 21-14. Started Q2 something like 15-0...
