Kibitzer memorial badass award

We have so much talent up and down the bench. Kayleigh Heckle, proud daughter of Port Chester where I grew up, was everywhere doing everything and never lets up. And Allie continues to be a steady, near mistake-free player with remarkably solid and matue basketball instincts. She threw some pretty passes today.

My BA goes out to coach Pizzotti. My reasoning being appreciating the beyond overwhelming under dog she never stopped coaching her team. A beat down of gargantuan portion any player for UConn could have been the BA. Simply a popularity vote in one like this.

When was the last time, when we made this award, that we had so many players worthy of it as we considered each game? That, in and of itself, is testament to who we already are this season. And I can’t help but watch Kelis and smile. Blessed with talent and attitude, it’s obvious that she itches to score every time she touches the ball. She’s a perfect example of a player with huge potential that will be realized once she absorbs Geno’s most important lesson: we measure you and you should measure yourself by your contribution to the team and scoring is only part of that and sometimes the least important part. KK is often a perfect example of that.

Sarah. Doing it all early and often. Nobody impacts the game more. Nobody does it so smoothly. Virtually a stealth badass.
Have to agree on Sarah. While its entertaining to watch players like K9 come in and excel, Strong and Azzi were the main reasons the lead was 20+ and growing when they entered the game. With all due respect to both DePaul and UConn's subs, DePaul's talent is so thin you would expect K9 or another UConn sub to dominate.
