Well maybe. I had been referring to Blanca as the “X-Factor” since she announced she was coming to Storrs. 😉

So many choices. My badass was Kelis with that finish and and one. That took attitude and strength to pull that off. Baltimore kid showing through on that one.

Blanca in another close one.

Blanca may be the most explosive player in the nation, even more than Fulwiley.

Fish is also explosive and has as good, if not better, body control when finishing drives. Fish and Q are a real "Dynamite Duo" (not to be confused with the fictional "Dynamic Duo"). In the half court offense, Geno should run clear-out plays for both so they have more room to execute their dynamite drives.

Sure some Spanish speaker noted that Blanca is from Milagro, Ecuador. "Milagro" means miracle en Espanol. She is.
I'd like to see more of the preseason Big East Freshman of the Year, Kelis Fisher. Is this fish a flopper? No way; she looks great.

I just hope Blanca gets out of the good/bad alternation: although that will give her good games versus USC and Iowa, she'd need to skip a game to be good vs. Notre Dame and Tennessee.

Blanca had an awesome game.
Honorable mention to Team Defense, which was superb.

13 PT, 3/4 3PT, 5/8 FG in 19 minutes. Also added 2 REB and a gorgeous spin move. Not too shabby.
