While she shot an uncharacteristic 4/14 today, I'm giving the Badass to Azzi, who's defense was relentless, even when the Huskies were up 30. I know that UConn tracks tips. I think Azzi might have had a dozen tonight.

played much more under control throughout the game...solid step
forward.

Another nice performance by Kelis....glad that Geno is rewarding her with

K9. Relentless defender, excellent facilitator and quickest cuts on the team. Team looked best when she was in with Strong, Fudd, Shade and Quinones, IMO.

Blanca because she is the most explosive player we have and is a great first option off the bench, as she can change the game quickly. She may not have the court sense of Sarah or the passing ability, but she can make things happen. Kellis is showing like a good point guard who can penetrate under control to score or kick it to a big.

Kelis is a winner. Her in-your-face and-one over a big while getting mauled was one heckuva badass play. When she learns to play D with the same competitiveness she displays in offense, she will be undeniable.

Many good choices. My ballot swung to K9 due to her fourth
Q efforts and full game stats: Heckel 20 minutes, 8 points on
4 for 5 shooting (80%!!!) missing one three pointer, three defensive
rebounds, two assists, two fouls, (She didn't mean it!). K9 also
had the second highest Efficiency Rating of 12, behind Sarah's
26 and just ahead of Blanca's 11. GO HUSKIES, Beat DePaul!
