Blanca was certainly more flashy, and is going to be a huge star, but I have to say Azzi had the ball in her hands a LOT and is so fundamentally sound. Plus, Azzi is still shooting 50% from 3 for the year? OMG!!! Really tough call, but I'll agree with my friend @Tonyc and say Blanca!

Several had really good games, including the usual suspects, but I'm happy to give Blanca my first BA award. She is the next UConn super star. Are her stats better than DT at this point in her freshman year? I haven't looked it up, but she's got to be close. Just amazing.

My vote is for Blanca. She seemed to be everywhere and to do everything to break the opponents’ spirit.

Blanca was one BadAss, in only 18 minutes of play she had 21 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 T/O, and she's only a Freshman. HM our Super Senior Azzi.

Blanca. She showed very little of the out-of-control play she had in earlier games. If she can play consistently like she did today she'll be that 3rd scorer, along side Sarah and Azzi, that we need and UConn will be that much harder to beat.
