The Guards man.. KK and Heckel did a great job. This is a post Paige era, so kudos to the both of them. With more games, these two young ladies are going to be amazing.
Last year when the games got a little dicey, Paige was always there to make a play and right the Husky ship. Sarah is that person this season and that makes her the BAD ASS.
Can’t believe who I’m going with. I hadn’t been impressed with what I had seen to this point . Visually she seemed small and passive. Guys I missed it.
Transfer 3000 miles into the Roman Colosseum of basketball, come off the bench and score 14 points in your first game of the season for the national champion team . . . is BA-ery.

Strong is the best player in the women’s collegiate game! With that it’s hard not to see her as the biggest bad ass, but for this game, being her first game on a new team … Kayleigh was the DAWG!
I'm going K9 because she hit the floor in her first UConn game looking like she belonged and understood how the offense and defense worked. Very few have been such quick learners.
A close second is Ash. Granted her shot wasn't there. Besides that she stuck her nose in everywhere - going for rebounds, pestering inbounds passes, playing tight D. Opposing players just don't want to see her coming their way.
