Kibitzer Memorial Badass Award

Got to give this one to Sarah. I was most impressed with her 6 steals, some of which she just ripped out of her opponent's hands, while I'm sure she was thinking, "Gimme the damned ball!!!"

I give it to Sarah. I wanted yo see how she was going to respond to her first college game. She simply showed just how good she can actually be. She's like Aneesah Morrow but with more finesse on the offensive side.

I can see the comparison, however, I get more Madison Booker vibes from Texas. Similar physical builds, chill personas, both on and off court, superior games and great court awareness and presence.
 
Jana because we were unsure what we would get from her, and she had a double double...Sarah was as advertised being the number 1 player in her class.

Booker is the best Comp but Sarah is way bigger and probably more skilled. And Booker is a Top 5 player in the country.
 
I'm going with Jana, she played 18 minutes, had 17 points, 11 rebounds and altered at least 5 shots. Close second was Sarah who played 25 minutes, had 17 points, 6 steals and only 1 foul.
 
Jana had a really good game, but a couple of her rebounds were on her own missed bunnies. A couple more were with Jana standing flat-footed and just reaching up over everyone to snag the ball. It pays to be 6'5". But hey, a rebound is a rebound.

The real BA was Sarah. Snatching the ball right out of the hands of players so foolish to expose the ball. That was very Svet-esque. Anyone remember Svet doing exactly that?

When you are the number one player in your high school class a lot is expected of you, but, in your first college game to decide that you're going to do what you do without hesitation and dare veterans college players to stop you, that's bad ass.

I agree. But Honorable mention to Ash: Most Minutes, ten points, three assists and SIX STEALS
(tied with Sarah's six steals). She is the workhorse (most minutes = 30) and she had
the BEST +/- rating for the team at 38 (Sarah's rating was 36). Make no mistake IHO
Paige is far and away the best player on the team and as Geno says " She make everyone
better ".

I agree. I had posted on 3 things you would like to see in the B.U. game that JANA play like she play like she did in the FIFA games AND SHE DID. Jana was a B.A. HM to Sarah. Uconn now has TWO BIGS that we sorely needed and this season is going to be a thrill ride the whole season. GO FRESHMEN!!!! GO SOPHOMORES!!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!
 
Easily Sarah, for her impact in so many areas. It's exciting to see a big that can handle the ball; when she gets her hands on the ball she's got the ball! No doubt, those sure hands passed down from her parents,especially from one time WNBA all star, Allison Feaster. And, wow, amazing how she ran the floor. She's one of those very few players who, instinctively , just knows what to do. Things that can't be coached , don't need to be, in her case.
