Yes, she did and the fact that she had a rough game but hung in there and did not shy away from the “moment” is to be admired; she showed great heart!AE had clutch baskets down the stretch.
Yanna with 2 points, Ines with 2 points = 4 points UCONN wins by 3!!! Yeh, bench points.I give it to AP. She was really bad ass when she was in and made some critical plays.
EVEN.. NIKA , in the post game radio interview, credited YANNA for coming up BIG in this one!Gotta go with Ayanna Patterson today.
She got it done. Pressure. She made a difference.
aren't they ALL team wins? /// i've never seen a huskies game where anyone fails to do their partIt was a team win, but gotta give it Dorka today.
Not to mention 8 assists!! Oh yeah, clearly Nika.100% Nika. We desperately needed perimeter points from someone other than Lou. Nika provided. Played great D. Put the game away at the end with that stone-cold 3 and free throws.
Sarge, I agree 1000%.Nika shooting 50% from 3 pt land, making all of her FT's, especially the final two to ice the game. Having 8 assist's (should have been at least 12) while playing all 40 minutes is BADASS in my book. Honorable mention to the rest of the team, everyone who played contributed.
If we all agreed, would there be a need for this thread?Today underscores the ambiguity and problem with the Badass award.
Does it mean cool under pressure? Muhl
Playing while injured? Juhasz
Resilience through adversity? Patterson
Who is to say?
