Just talking to an ole friend. MoJeff on Diggins with instructions to not let her touch the ball. Kelly on KMack. I have said UConn 73-67 however if the refs let'em play UConn by a lot. I know what your thinking however we were down double digits in the BE tourney late and Breanna had her break out and brought us back before we blew it. Breanna is playing like she did earlier this season and MoJeff is the point guard weve been looking forward too. They've both arrived and don't let me forget Tuck who has been a beast underneath. All three are playing with confidence on both sides of the ball. Geno will be at his best tonite and UConn will be playing LVille on Tuesday nite.

Yes! If we score more points than them, we'll win! "Basketball...put the ball in the basket" (GA).

Seriously, the key is Stewie...but don't tell her I said so...

Absolutely agree with TonyC - Jefferson on Diggins, Faris on McBride. And no zone with Dolson since ND will always overload the wing - usually their left offensive side - for open 3's - especially since Ms. Dolson, given her injuries will never get there.

Speaking of keys - who drew the referee assignments? Anyone but DeMayo, Kantner and Mattingly (in that order) please...

The keys are the ones MoJeff is holding when he gives her the Lamborghini tonight.

UConn 's past weakness is ND present weakness- no bench. UConn this year can go 8 to 9 deep. Make ND really work on defense- no quick shots initially- unless they are breakaway layups.

Try to get Braker and Achonwa in foul trouble. UConn has an big advantage down low. If Braker and Achonwa have to spent a lot of time on the bench or have to be soft defensively to avoid fouling out, things could go very bad for ND- and very quickly.

Stewie could be really important in that; she should a big offensive mismatch in UConn's favor. Tuck could be big offensively and defensively and Stokes could put in some important minutes defensively.

If UConn can get a lead, Diggins might try to do too much and take bad shots- that has been her tendency in the past.

If KLM and others can make open threes!!

As has been said, ND is facing a UConn team that played Jefferson and Tuck for only a few minutes in the Big East Championship, Hartley is starting to play like an AA and Stewie, who had a good game against ND last time, is playing even better.

Well said.

Key to the game will be getting the freshmen in the game early to work off the jitters, staying out of foul trouble, and having fresh legs for the final five minutes.

MoJeff gonna pick up early fouls on Diggins

The guard play will decide. Hold diggins and mcbride in check and get ready for #8. Fail to do so and get ready for next year

My key player is Bria Hartley. If she has a strong game , Irish can't handle Huskies.

The keys are the threes and the zebras.
