Novesel in foul trouble early on. I thought she was trying to make something happen as her teammates werent able to do anything. UConns kept the pressure on Diggins and bottled her up thus couldnt score til there was less then 2 minutes left. UConn ran the ball up the court and it was very evident ND was tired breathing very hard. By having Tiff and CD bring the ball upcourt it allowed KML and Bria to focus on scoring and not get tired. It also kept turnovers down as both CD and Tiff have been in big games like this before. Stef played with energy and confidence. Her defense was terrific. Over all we played intense and aggresive which allowed us to rebound and made ND look lost. If not for McBride I would have to wonder. The key to ND is Novesel. With her on the bench NDs offense struggled. When the game started I never had a doubt UConn would win. This is a huge learning expereince for UConn. They now understand why there werent playing great the past few games and have not only found out why, the were not playing up to their potentical but found out how to correct it.
