Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

I just looked at that Duke schedule - there is no chance they are playing 2 of their 3 non-conference games on the road in 2028 (@ Temple, @ UConn) and 2029 (@ TCU, @ UConn). It feels unlikely the current iteration of UConn/Duke games plays out as is.

Same logic applies to Syracuse - I’d say theres approximately a 0% chance they’re going to come to UConn in 2027 given they are coming here next year and already have a 2027 road game @ Penn State scheduled. Look for that game to move to 2031 or later.

Wake is going to have to get creative… maybe we can move our game in Winston-Salem to next year to avoid getting pushed way out to the 2030s

All I can say about the UNC series is thank God we moved locations of the games around to get them in EH next year. Don’t be surprised if our game in Chapel Hill gets pushed to 2029
The ACC will have an unbalanced schedule with either 4 or 5 home ACC games every year. So, for a school like Duke, they will target 6 home games every year. In years they have 5 ACC home games, they will probably play 2 road OOC games as Duke is not going to be able to get any quality OOC games if they don't offer a H/H. For a school like FSU, they will target 7 home games every year, but with a 9 game ACC schedule, they might have to play 6 home games in a given year.

FSU has played 4 six home game schedules in the last 10 years...but they subbed a home game for a neutral site game in Dublin, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Atlanta.

Every other year, either Florida or Miami is away...and there are 2 ND at home and 3 away through 2036.

I look for the SEC to reverse course again and support the B1G's proposal of 4 guaranteed playoff teams every year. Check out this NY Times article discussing the difficulties of the future SEC 9-game schedules, plus required 10th game vs. a P4 team. If that happens, the B1G will have their cake and eat it too - getting the SEC to play 9 conference games and getting the guaranteed playoff structure it has long advocated for.....

"Still, every team can probably pick out at least one year and be concerned. Auburn, for instance, has a 2028 schedule that looks brutal: Road games at Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU and Arkansas.

That same year, LSU has a five-game road schedule of Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Mississippi State.

In 2027, Ole Miss has a five-game road schedule of LSU, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi State.

There are plenty of other examples. And in addition to that the SEC is still requiring teams to play at least one non-conference game against Notre Dame or a team from the ACC, Big Ten or Big 12. Given all that, don’t be surprised if coaches and athletic directors lobby commissioner Greg Sankey to get even more protections in the CFP selection process."
