Pressure the ball all the way up court. Never leave Frazier unguarded--use taller defenders on him. Use the quick double on Young at times but don't leave Frazier or Scottie W.

Offense--find the open man--Daniels and Giffey will hit shots in out in out keep the ball moving and keep them off balance. If we keep them under 30% from 3 I think we can beat them.

They had success at the end of the last game with some half court traps with their long guys on top……..we need to attack that if they do this again. If you remember last time we were trying to hold on for the W and get to the line, but we turned it over a couple times………now we get it to the middle and go.

Hey they scored 50 against us, I don't care who played, who didn't and who was hurt they had 5 good players on the court and Patric Young made everything he looked at yet guess who had 51?

We can do this!! Ten Toes In………no wall can stop these guys right now they really are a "brotherhood" and do believe!

They play at least 8 deep (only one averaging more than 31 minutes) and have 4 players averaging double figures, but none above 14 points.

They play great defense and if you pick your poison to double...well, you've picked your poison.

We have no chance. Though they have yet to be tested in the tourney. What happens late if they're behind?

DD can have a big game against their D, and he has to for us to win. Jordan Adams was able to get whatever he wanted against them.

All the pressure is on them, gotta hope they tighten up under the pressure. I know we won't.

IMO the biggest key to this game is Boat. If he can continue to pressure the ball like he has over the last 4 games, Florida will have a hard time running their offense smoothly. Wilbekin is far from their only capable scorer... But the offense really does run through him, especially during crucial possessions. He's been as good at driving and dishing/finishing as anyone I've seen this year.

If Wilbekin gets into the lane at will (as he has been) we'll have a tough time keeping an eye on their shooters and keeping their bigs off of the O glass. That could spell big trouble... Fortunately I think that we'll avoid that scenario. Boat has been on fire defensively and our help D as a whole has been unreal.

Both teams are much different since our first meeting ,but I see this one playing out largely the same way- a dogfight that our guards pull out at the end.

The key is not turning it over against their pressure and traps. Uconn has struggled against this all season as Bazz and Boat are small and struggle to make the right pass over taller guards. If they can navigate this and keep the game in the half court, UConn has a great chance to win the game.

No way Giffey misses five open threes again :)

as a jump shooting team, I'm really concerned about how the dome is going to affect shooting. same goes for Florida as well, but we get so much of our points from jumpers generated off of high ball screen/pick and pop action with Bazz/DD/NG, and then getting NG in space for open 3s, I thought playing in the football stadium affected the shooting in 11, Kemba was missing alot of jumpers against UK & Butler that he was hitting all postseason.

I don't mind domes as much as the raised courts that seem to be used at every Final Four. That's what throws off the shooter, IMO. Of course, it works for both teams.

The final 4 was in the Georgia Dome last year and I remember both teams shooting lights out in the title game.

The key is slowing down Patric Young. That is the only mismatch they have on UConn.

Need to attack him off the dribble and get him into early foul trouble.

I think we'll see a lot of doubling/denying entry pass in the post, similar to how we played Payne. Young isn't great at creating shots for himself, but if he gets position on the block he normally finishes. A huge issue is that Young can be a monster on the O glass. We need to keep their guards out of the lane, because if we don't he could have a field day with 2nd chance opportunities

Need to send Giffey out into an open field shooting 40 footers every day. Neils has to get the feeling back to keep these guys honest. He's playing great otherwise. No panic at all. Get a fair shake and KO will keep us in this game. Florida is the beast of this tourney. I like that one media guy who had MSU beating them gives us no chance. We've already beaten both!

The key will be to pressure the ball on defense. Wilbekin and Frazier are the only ones capable of going for 25+ a night, maybe throw in Prather too. Patric Young will get his. Young cannot control the game as much as Wilbekin can. Young can get anywhere from 0-15pts and that's his limit. Plus Young is playing bad right now and has been getting into foul trouble in about half of their NCAA games.

Contain Wilbekin and Frazier and our chances go up. Prather is playing OK, but we've played a Prather-type player in every tournament game so far and shut them down.

Stop Frazier from shooting 3s and stay focused on Prather. Prather sliced and diced Uconn the last time out.

If choosing to focus my defense between Wilbekin and Prather, I have to stop Prather first, because he will slice UConn up. The only difference here is that Ollie may elect to play Giffey/Kromah on him a lo more than last time when Prather had Napier and Calhoun on him.
