cubs win! cubs win! cubs win!** :) :) :)

** i am not a cubs fan, but i like to use this expression when something awesome happens :)

I am super happy about this.

But, I do wish it was longer (7 years?). This means we should have a renegotiation coming up in 2-3 years again to protect recruiting.

Really it should be a contract for my lifetime, or until I become blind and can't watch anymore.

So Coach, get off your duff and start recruiting; who have you signed lately? ;)

And now ESPN on bottom of main page, has this question/vote - Will Ollie win another championship at UConn? Its 50/50 at this moment.

It's an interesting question, only because the list of coaches with multiple titles is so damned small...

Goodman is writing a feature on all the guys UConn hasn't signed in the last two hours as proof that Ollie can't recruit.

I've read every post so far and not one person has complained that the contract isn't for 3 million years. What gives?

And that gif isn't just Ollie plus Miller & Moore. Hobbs is downright gentlemanly in signaling his approval.

What nice news to come home to.
I'm hopeful that the assistant coaches are going to get a little extra bonus in their contracts. I'm not suggesting a massive amount but something to show how their contributions helped make this year absolutely memorable. I think Kevin would acknowledge that he didn't do it alone, that he required a lot of help and his staff came through wonderfully.

That was one of the sticking points, so yes, I bet it's been addressed.
