A lot of media haters were questioning if we could even field a team with all the transfers. Now we have 12 wins against stiff competition, and our biggest loss was by 6 points to a top 20 team (New Mexico). I have been really happy with KO's in game coaching, and actually think we are 'prettier' on offense than the last few years. I honestly don't think there's a team in the country that plays harder than our Huskies. Thanks Coach O

He was coaching this entire game for sure. Saw it in the way he subbed people and wrote up plays. He's got all the tools. But we knew that. Ten toes in!!

That would mean we had a great season. All for it. But as of now too soon but he gets the most out of what he has...

We're never OUT of a game.. All have been winnable

Fantastic, fantastic job.
Personally, I thought over the years that Calhoun's offense's were typically pretty mediocre, considering some of the talent we had on his better teams and it appears that the "new" Huskies are going to be more enjoyable to watch while still carrying some of the great defensive fundamentals of the Calhoun era. I think I'm liking what Kevin's doing to and for the Huskies. I see a pretty bright future, particularly if over a period of time we can land in a better environment (league) for our athletic programs to flourish.

I honestly was nervous WM was going to let KO get away! I just felt he was going to be a special coach.

Funny how the comments change with a W. I did think that he did a very good job managing this game. He is going to have a bit of a learning curve like any new coach- but he has all the tools and experience he needs to be a winner.

I love JC- but I have to say it is a nice feeling to know that you possibly have the nicest person coaching college basketball in the country right now as our coach. KO is a class act- even the JC haters are routing for him.

KO still deserves an "A". Great job especially by a 1st year head coach. Thanks KO!

They would never, ever give it to him.

The Big East coaches would chew their own legs off and their ADs would chew their arms off if they gave the award to Ollie.

The C7s will vote for a C7, the ACC'ers will vote for the ACC'ers and Cronin will try to vote for himself. Twice.

I hope he does not get it. BE COY is for NCAA tournament underachievers like Jamie Dixon and Mike Brey

Funny how the comments change with a W.

Think 90% of the fanbase has been behind KO and impressed with him from day 1. Now we are even more impressed.

No doubt, KO has been very impressive. His sense for finding the mismatch has been very good. Great day today.

I think KO is bring an NBA perspective to the offense. More uptempo, exploiting mismatches and more ball movement.

Great job KO!

It's gonna be Boeheim, regardless of what another other coach does. Only other candidate would be Buzz.

Watching the game again and cool to watch certain adjustments he made. One thing was that he had Giffey play behind the top of the key on offense and used him to make the passes into the center of the zone, hit Bazz that one time for the nice jumper from the FT line.

He has been great. Possibly didn't quite manage the ot in the Marquette game but so far so good. To early to call. But no one outside of the boneyard would have predicted what we have done so far.

Great leadership shown by Kev.

10 toes and all fingers in for our new HC!

I play I would like to see ran is "Circles" but I prob won't see it until next season with a true PF and true C in the game and if KO decides to incorporate it. Right now, he is running his own version which I like as well because Ive seen about 5 different options for the Center... Circles allowed for an open mid-range jump shot for the Guard

I'm not so sure. For as much dislike as the program has generated, everyone likes KO. He's not going to the NCAA's. He's young and his left behind in this soap scum ring of a conference. He's not a threat, at least in the near term. I can see people giving him this well deserved recognition.
