We have read that the two are good friends and very supportive of each other's teams.
Given the situation that KO inherited in terms of the UConn men's program and the conference mess
that both teams are in...at least at this time....Ollie's recruiting has been fantastic. They have a darn solid class coming in next year with a Mickey D transfer from NC State on campus but not eligible till 2014-2015. He just got a verbal from a 2014 stud from California. It's still early in the Ollie reign but he is off to a superb start.

I wonder if Geno and KO talk about their common issues [namely...conference alignment] and suggest
possible approaches to recruiting targets? Obviously Geno and staff have far more experience in the matter but I figure he is the type to both share wisdom and learn from others.

One common matter: There are very few D1 schools where basketball is #1. Indiana and Duke come to mind. UConn as well. If you are a top level recruit...guy or gal...that might be a factor in your decision.
Football is 'IT' in the vast majority of universities.....with football recruiting and spring football coming in
second and third in many cases. In Storrs....hoops are #1....that might be something to point out in meeting with elite high school players.

Ollie was also at the Baylor game and got a huge ovation when shown on the Jumbotron.

Wonder if Daniel Hamilton and family got to meet fellow Los Angelos product KML?

The Hamiltons are quite the family. There are 5 siblings, the oldest, Gary, went to Univ of Miami and now plays in the pros in Europe, the second son, Jordan, plays for the Denver Nuggets, the 3rd son just accepted a bball scholly to UTEP and now Daniel is going to UConn. There's one sister, Miya, who played college softball at Napa Valley. Tight knit family, seem like some really good people.

Great, great, great Grandfather Alex Hamilton had a jump shot that was money. But alas, his defense was weak, as he couldn't stop the game winner by Aaron Burr. :)
