Tennessee is playing much better. Cooper is showing flashes of why she was a McDonald's all-american. I had hoped that Tennessee wouldn't figure things out until AFTER the SC game, but of course I'm not that lucky.

They're not there yet, but they are improving.

Neither team is particularly good. I am not overly concerned about seeing either one in the tournament. Although there is plenty of season left, and both can improve, this is some ugly basketball being played right now.

Game getting away from the Lady Vols a bit. Mercedes Russell is confusing. She has all of the tools to be a really dominant center yet she's getting outplayed by a freshmen right now.

One team plays an antiquated double post, the other plays psuedo-schoolyard ball. Two offensively (re typical SEC) challenged teams. Has anyone ever seen a 6'7" player so uncomfortable in the post? Maybe if she was 6"8"...She can't shoot outside, can't hit free throws, can't hit layups, can't rebound. I've seen mannequins with better instincts. How does anyone let Epps get off? She has a mediocre shot from 12' out. Everything is off the dribble or through fast breaks. Horrible.
