If they let the players play and werent making foul calls most of the game thats one thing, well hear from ESPN "oh you cant call fouls near the end of games" its not that hard if its an obvious foul call it if its not dont call it.

I loved NC States play call with the ball and 50 seconds left. Dribble the ball down the court, then throw it out of bounds without any pressure. Good stuff right there.

Look, I get that officials prefer to let the players decide the outcome, but come on. This crew called it tight for 39 minutes and then anything goes the final minute. That cannot be the right answer. Hell, if that's how it;s going to be, tell the refs to take a seat on the bench for the last minute and just let the players call their own fouls at the end. That would be more honest at least.

The officiating was terrible in the last minute (no call on UNC's last basket, no call on NC St's last attempt), but two State players no being able to connect on a pass that might have covered 10 ft isn't the refs fault.
