so did Derrick Williams and Solomon Hill. last time a USC coach got canned it jumpstarted Zona's program, not sure why you're acting as if good players are incapable of going there, you have a habit of posting some bizarre stuff.

I think his concern might be that the type of kids who are attracted to the glitz and glamour of USC may not be the kind of kids some fans would like the program to be built around. When you look at a lot of the programs recruiting Harris, it's a bit of a flag to me - however that doesn't condemn the kid, it just means you make sure to do your due diligence.

Going to a handful of games a year, I can tell you that there's nothing glamorous about USC basketball.

Ever been to SC's campus?

More generally, it's like saying we shouldn't go after a kid who's also interested in ucla.

Yes I have. LA is still more glamorous than Storrs.

I never said UConn shouldn't go after a kid interested in USC, and USC and UCLA have very different athletic profiles.

You can't decommit after you have signed. He would have to have a real good reason why he would be released of his LOI. I don't think that the signing of a player at the same position in the same class is good. But, he would never leave UConn. We're his dream school.

Didn't boatright commit to USC before he committed to wvu?

@Coast2CoastHoop: Oregon, USC, UConn,Texas, Texas A&M, Auburn, San Diego St, Virginia, TCU,Texas Tech & Creighton have reached out to Kendal Harris.

I'd jump at the opportunity to learn behind Napier and Boatright for 1 year & then handle PG/combo guard duties the following year.. Also, playing for a coach that has 13 years of NBA guard experience.. can't beat it.

Plus he can play for a Coach that was instrumental in helping win a championship in 2011 , there's a team leader / pg that also played a major part in that championship , you'll have access to the legendary Jim Calhoun and if he comes we can make a final four. No other program on that list can offer that .

If he is released from his LOI, will he be eligible to play next season?

Texas isn't a big dog? They usually recruit very well. Same success on the court? Well...........
Just saying we are the best program there, don't have to worry about UK or Indiana or UNC getting involved. But here is the case against Texas; They have signed 12 players the past 2 years, 7 of them guards. 4 in the ESPN100, and 4 of them are PGs. Not like he will step in and be a starter here either, but if he goes to Texas then he will be competing with two thirds of the roster. Or he can come here and be our 3rd PG/guaranteed spot in 8-man rotation.
