@jfuchs91 great stuff, thanks.

Edit: Sort of an an irrelevant side bar but Charlie V would have been a junior on that '06 team, no?
It looks more impressive than it is because I compiled that list and did all the research two years ago. Just added in the games since. And you're right about Charlie V. I edited the post to reflect that.

Side Note: Donyell Marshall and Uncle Cliffy Robinson are 2 of ONLY 6 players to accumulate 1,000 points, 750 three pointers, 750 blocks and 5,000 rebounds in the HISTORY of the NBA.

I'm hoping the 1,000 points is supposed to be 10,000 points. Not very impressive if you hit 750 3-pointers and have 1,000 career points.

If Jru Holiday can make into an all-star game Kemba can too.

Kemba barely has any votes for the all-star game, what a joke.

Yes, he left after his sophomore year in 2005. If he had stayed, he would have been a junior on the 2006 team that would have crushed any teams in its path (such as any from the DC areas or whereabouts). Charlie was pretty dominant late in his sophomore year, so I would guess he would be really good as a junior if he had stayed.

That team was still plenty talented though, we could have also had Bynum that year. What really killed us was the Price suspension, Marcus Williams was our only ball handler that year.

Lucky for us we get to watch AARP Kobe play 5 minutes and throw up 6 bricks in the ASG instead of a guy like Kemba.

As much of a Walker fan that I am, John Wall, Kyle Lowry and Isaiah Thomas are more deserving. The fan vote will select Irving (Ridiculous). And then the coaches will probably select Wall and Lowry. That'll leave Thomas and Walker on the outside looking in. Too bad because if fans weren't ridiculous, he could have a shot at a bench spot.

iirc Price wasn't even cleared medically til after that season anyway. I don't think he would have been available even without the suspension.

Probably not nonetheless not having another ball handler hurt us in the end. The way that Uconn team was playing at the end of the year Florida probably destroys us in the FF if we had gotten past the elite 8.

He won with a D-League team. Brian Roberts, Troy Daniels, Marvin Williams, Spencer Hawes out there with him down stretch and in OT.

Olasipo is considered one of the best on ball defenders in the league by some.

Didn't you say Kamba was a below average NBA starting pg? It might not have been you, but anyone who did is looking pretty stupid right now...

He's averaging over 20 PPG on the season now and his shooting splits are by far the best they've been his entire career. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but I wasn't sure he'd ever be this good.

I haven't followed the NBA this season as closely as I usually do, but from afar, what he and Batum have been able to do keeping that club above water - with Jefferson missing so much time and Kidd-Gilchrist not having played yet - is pretty impressive.

I was actually surprised that his shooting numbers were kind of bad at first. I thought if any small UCONN guard could adjust to the NBA as he has all the around skills to make it there. Glad at least one recent UCONN guard is representing us well.
