Is there ANYTHING left to say about her??? Simply put, if you love and understand college basketball, you've gotta venerate KF!! I'm officially going into mourning over the fact that she's in the last six weeks of her career here...wonder what Chelsea Gray would say...

She took the game over again, playing at a maniacal pace. Amazing!

Knike? Did KSwiss and Nike merge? :)

How many All-Americans does Kelly have to shut down while putting up ridiculous numbers (points and rebounds and assists and steals) before she gets All-American status? I hope Pam Ward is wrong and that Kelly will get her due this year.

If Pam Ward is right it will be the first time. Kelly is clearly one of the best WCBB players in the country. Based on her play she is an ALL American. I am sure she would get the Duke coaches vote. Now we need to get the pundits to start making a case for her. She has everything but the PR at this point.

Kelly was wonderful, extraordinary, but lets not forget the efforts of a wounded Bria.
What a wonderful game from her.

Agreed! Did a wonderful job distributing the ball tonight. Loved the effort through the pain.

Geno: "I know there are a lot of good players, All-Americans. But man oh man, that [Faris' performance] was 1 for the ages #UConnwomen

More on Faris: "Legends have played at Gampel wearing #UConnwomen uniform. I don't know that anyone ever represent it better than she did."

What a wonderful game from her.
And the other pillar of the team - Kaleena.

High draft pick. Maybe #2.

I assume you are being facetious but it will be interesting to see how high she goes. The trick in the W is to find a roster spot... lots of good players but very few roster spots.

I think the first three draft picks are probably fixed in stone, but it will be interesting to see where she ends up going - and I would not be surprised to see whatever team takes her being in the finals for the WNBA this coming season! She is such a great teammate - one of those players that makes any team she plays on run smoother.
And what a great influence on the rest of the team - I think it is really important for the freshmen and sophomores to have her example to look to. I think KML especially is gaining inspiration from her.

I think Kelly and Kaleena--workout partners--are feeding off each other. Nice symbiosis!

She does it all on both ends of the court! Amazing!
There was a time when I wouldn't agree with that statement. For the first two years of her UConn career, she struggled quite a bit on the offensive end of the court. Her shot really wasn't there! She only scored on fast break opportunities or putbacks but seldom with a jumpshot. Her defensive intensity and rebounding were there from day one. I wouldn't call her an offensive weapon now but she surely isn't the liability she was in those first couple of years. Then teams would just play off her and put a lot more pressure on the remaining four Huskies. Even then, she compensated with outstanding hustle and her Charlie Hustle defensive style. She is one of the hardest nosed kids that will ever step on the court in Storrs or anywhere for that matter and she is truly someone who inspires her team with her energy and her will to make a difference while she's on the court.

Some people have already overlooked her first half tonight when she was more than a little sloppy with the ball and had three turnovers. It's so easy to forget that or even forgive that because she plays every play like it's her last. The second half she really booted herself up and got to every loose ball with it seeming like every loose ball just kept finding her. I liked the entire teams energy in the second half and their grit. Maybe she was the inspiration for it but Stewart was marvelous and though her stats as usual didn't show it, I continue to see Doty as a very significant part of what's right about this team. They always seem to play more under control and less sloppily when she's in the lineup. When she was in the first half lineup was when they were less prone to turn the ball over. The second half of the game was prime UConn Huskie basketball and I hope they continue to evolve and just get bettere and better.
