This is of course after it was known that there would be undercover cops dressed as giants fans, who the hell brings a 2 year old to a game and gets drunk and attacks a cop, the Saints game I heard was really bad as well, of course we know about Kyle Williams getting death threats what is it with the Bay Area fans, their are some fans on the east coast but its never this bad.

do you really think if police dressed up as opposing fans in ny or boston and adopted a zero tolerance policy the same wouldn't happen?

also, the article said he "threatened" the cop, not attacked. but don't let that get in the way of your argument.

I think the bigger story is that giants players knew Kyle Williams was prone to concussions, and made it their goal to give him one during the game (and even bragged about it afterward).

The 49ers are an old franchise. They were created in 1946. The older the franchise, the more likely there will be hooligans. Those 110 fans can be easily be replaced. But that decoy trick sure worked. Amazing those 110 people didn't keep that in mind.

The Giants were created in 1925 (for $500) and the Patriots and Jets were created in 1960 (for $25,000).

First year NFL franchises in 1920 cost $100. Only the Bears and Cardinals survived the test of time. College football was more well-perceived than pro football back then and for many years after the NFL's start. Pro football was pretty much viewed the same way the WWE is viewed now.

You'd better quit talking trash. I'm 6'6", 250, and you'll be prone to concussions when I'm done with you.

I was surprised by how kind the Pats fans were to the Ravens fans all throughout the game on Sunday. Almost like they felt sorry for Ravens fans for traveling that far to watch a shank. Was Cundiff paid? Seemed like everyone in the stadium knew.

They said they knew he had a prior concussion history and were trying to "take him out."

Its football its the playoffs and he was playing,I guess they should have just slowly walked up to him and not tried to tackle him. Every team goes after an injured player and they hit him legally. Any given Sunday whatever it takes.

Like Scoe just said... there are players in every single football game that are looking to go after an injured player or cause an injury. It's just the nature of the game... from high school football through to the pro's. It's a dog fight and if you get a chance to take someone out that is critical to the other team in a full-contact sport, then that's what you do. Doing it with cheap shots and illegal hits is a different story, but if they're legal hits then heck... it's part of the game.
