This game reminds me a bit of the Vandy and Arkansas losses the LVs suffered. The question is whether KU can withstand this surge by Tennessee and surge back like the Razorbacks and Commodores (?).

49-44 LVs. KU not playing with a lot of poise right now. Just chucking up unmakable shots.

Come on Kansas! ( I think that's the first time I have ever uttered or typed those words)

Don't know if I've ever seen a top 10 team miss more bunnies than Tennessee.

Well, they were a #2 seed and are going to make the Elite Eight, so from that perspective, they must be.

I do think it's funny that commentators are citing the bench points as a sign of Tennessee's "depth".

No, the bench points are sign of Bass & Manning starting ... and then not playing the rest of the game.

Agreed. Those two don't score, and unlike, say, Caroline or Kelly, don't do enough other stuff.

Well, KML points shouldn't count as "bench" points either, given that she plays more minutes than two of the starters.

More than one announcer has credited Notre Dame playing poorly in the BET rather than giving UConn props for playing well. Stephanie White the latest. Not like ND didn't crush their opponents the previous two games in the BET.

UConn is not a deep team either. Both have 6 or 7 players.
Inexplicably, though, TN plays deadweight like Bass.

If Stef and Caroline were benched and not allowed back in the game, that would be a valid comparison.

Never said she should. UConn is not deep either.
