This girl is a STUD!!!!! 96 Three point baskets by the end of regular season. There will hopefully be an additional 9 games for UCONN. What is the single season record? 108? KML has already broken into the top ten for three pointers at UCONN as a Sophomore. She was the third faster player to reach 1000 I believe, one of six players to reach that level as a sophomore. The others included Sveta, DT, Tina, Maya, and Bria if I am not mistaken. Not a bad group to keep company with. Plus she has an 89% free throw rate.

She is a bright spot on this team. I hope that Kiah and Brianna keep developing and that Morgan continues to impress. Next year if Brianna is out of her funk, Kiah is more consistent, and Morgan is a year more mature... they will be a great supporting cast to KML. :)

It's pretty clear that Kaleena didn't just want Maya's number...she was thinking MJ all the way!

How was she not the Big East Player of the Week last week after that career game against Baylor?

*Just a correction, she is one of only 4 players to reach the 1,000 pt plateau as a sophmore. Joining Sveta, Maya and Bria.

Every time she shoots I think it is going in....I just love her improvement from last year.
I predict that her #1 off-season goal will be to improve one on one dribbling skills....to better free her up
in half-court sets.

Tri-captains next year: Stef...Bria...KML.

You are correct, Tina had 996 by the end of her sophomore year, my mistake. What did DT have?

She'll set a career 3-point record for UConn that will not be broken. She'll also pass Tina for #2 in career points. Look for her near the top of several categories. And hopefully at least 2 NCs.

The best stroke I have ever seen in the women's game and I am hard pressed to find better strokes in the men's game. Of course UConn produced the all time greatest three point shooter but I did not forsee it coming out of college. Glen Rice, Reggie Miller, downtown Freddie Brown, Dell Curry, Stephen Curry, Larry Bird, Craig Hodges. I like KML's stroke better than all the forementioned.

KML not only improved leaps and bounds over last year (and she was really good last year), but she continues to put up big numbers in big games. The biggest moments do not phase her. I love her game and love how hard she worked to improve other aspects of it. She's going to be one of the all time greats. AND she's such a great kid. We are so lucky she chose to come way east to play college hoops!!

DOn't forget about getting Banks back. She would have been a difference maker last night.

Just wanted to reiterate the OP's message re: KML, as I remind myself that she went 55 minutes.

55 minutes in a game like that is just.....wow. Being held, battling, playing inside, outside, banging bodies. That's a hell of a 55 minutes.

53 minutes for Kelly, same thing.

Warriors, both, and still playing at a high level til the end. Didn't see them bent over gasping for air.

The Killer K's (Kelly and Kaleena) are a revelation...let's just hope the DNA is being preserved for cloning...

I could not agree more.

These two players had all 7 three pointers, 7 assist, five steals, sadly 8 turnovers, 19 rebounds, and were 6-9 from the foul line. If there is any criticism I have is that if they made 7-9 from the foul line... but overall in 108 minutes between these two... I think they did a darn good job.
