I'm pretty sure we haven't offered him yet but I expect that to change at some point

I talked to him a few days ago and he said that he was down to five schools: UConn, Providence, Maryland, Baylor, and Drexel. He said that UConn and Providence were the front runners at the time. He said that he definitely had offers from the other four and was pretty positive that he had one from UConn as well.

By what he's been saying on twitter today it looks like he may commit to PC at their midnight madness.

Not sure what to make of kids (thinking) they have an offer. I'm guessing if they are not sure they probably don't. Maybe they don't want to embarrass themselves in front of the person asking them? Seems to be a trend. No clue-

This is a smart move by Cooley to try and look him down before the big boys come knocking. How many scholarships do we have for 2014? I'd love to keep all the CT kids, but we also need the best talent.

He grew up with Ollie's son and is Doug Wiggins cousin, innate to imagine we would get him if we really wanted him.

Some confusion may be related to Jim Calhoun stopping his recruiting efforts and transitioning it all to Ollie.

It doesn't hurt. Not sure it helps. Doug still is very friendly with a lot of UConn guys and ex-UConn guys.

He's a good player from what I have heard, not sure how good though. I know there are a few other SG's in 2014 I want at UConn, but that may only be because I haven't seen Kahari at all.

If he verbals to PC, I can't imagine that helps with Terrell? I thought he was Cooley's big SG target for 2014.

From what I've heard he's a combo that is more of a shooting guard at this point but is trying to transition to point guard. He's bounced around to about 4 schools, don't know why he's moved around so much. I've heard he's a talented scorer.

Kid is a bonehead not what we need at this time. Getting expelled from a public school is hard to do. (EHHS)

I was under the impression a SG, but again I haven't seen him play.

If he's friends with KO's son lets all trust coaches judgment on whether to offer him or not. If he doesn't have an offer he isn't good enough to ball for the Huskies

Haven't seen him play other than video but he didn't look to have BE type speed or quickness. Hope he does well wherever he lands though!!

Interesting, not sure if PC can get Austin, but interesting.

I would take Austin at UConn and hope UConn is making some inroads with him.
