Is Vegas trying to lose to Indiana? With no K. Mitchell no less. Looks like both teams have been playing their benches quite a bit in the first half.

Ionescu just set a franchise record w/ her 14th assist. Lib. pulling away again.
Crystal with her best game with Liberty. 15 pts, 4 reb, 4 assists, 1TO with 5 minutes left in 4Q

Sabrina up to 16 assists.

Looks like Q2 has been all Seattle, after Washington had a 7 point lead in Q1. Storm up 5 now.

And 17 for Allen. 7 combined 3's for those 2. NY will take that any time they can get it.

Sabrina up to 16 dimes now. Gotta be getting close to the single game record, which I'm sure Sloot owns, but can't remember the number.]

edit--it's 18

.-.
Mercury look like a team running out of gas, on the road I hardly see them be competitive. Wonder if this will be Taurasi's last season too.

SDS is having a miserable game--4-18 shooting. She and Taurasi have both been tearing it up lately, and both went cold today. Merc don't have much chance of winning if they're both off.

Howard is balling today. 23 pts/12 reb/6 assists, 10-13 shooting.

Crystal with a sweet assist and a nice bank shot bucket. Pad those stats.

I take credit for this win. Decided not to go to the game and since the Liberty are 0-3 when I go, I bit the bullet.

20 point beat down. Not gonna get any easier, Phoenix has 2 in a row at Connecticut. I gotta think the Sun's front court will have a field day against the undersized Merc.

New York's remaining schedule is interesting, every single game is against one of the teams they are competing with for the last 3 remaining playoff spots.

When the Liberty keep TO's manageable, they play some of the best looking basketball especially when they are making their 3's (12-26)

32 (16 by Sabrina) assists on 35 made buckets. :D

KP going OFF in Q3, 17 points. Up to 24 for the game and Aces pulling away.

.-.
Mystics up 7 thru Q3. Atkins has 21. Stewie and Loyd have 31 of Seattle's 55 points.

Quarter 1 and 3 were all Washington, Quinn needs to start the game with Stewie, Tina, and Ezi, Gabby hasn't defended well this game and is a black hole on offense.
Seattle has 2 starters who average 6 shots a game, Sue runs the team, but you can't have another player starting who isn't able to score.

Seattle within 1 68-67 Washington. Lets go.

It took a while, but Aces got the lead up big enough for the bench to play just about the whole 4th quarter. Plaisance has rediscovered her shot, she has 13.

Fever showed some promise early in the season, but now they are back to being just awful.

Plum is 17-23 from the floor the last 2 games. That's good right? Especially for a guard.

Stewie had a decent look from 3 for the tie. Gabby got the O board and raced back out behind the arc and took an awkward heave. There was still a bit of time left, didn't need to rush quite that much. Still a split in the 2 games at Washington is okay for Seattle.

Plum might be taking control over MVP race after the last few games with Vegas getting back on track and Seattle faltering a bit. Her shooting percentages are up to 46% FG and 43% from deep, both of which are outstanding for a guard averaging 20 ppg. I have a feeling it'll go to Wilson or Stewart over her at this point, but she's making a strong case.

She's also going to become only the second player in league history to make 100 3's in a season. Taurasi is the first of course. She's done it twice, and she's also going to do it this season. How weird is it that it's only happened twice ever, and that number is about to double.

Moriah having an excellent first half with the Lynx leading 50-36 (7-9 1-1 from 3) 3 assists, 1TO .

Liv getting only a few minutes but she had a beautiful drive to the basket with no hesitation splitting 2 defenders.

Oh, EDD is in the conversation, but folks like to throw her sitting into the conversation. However, her fanbase (me included) remind those critics that legends like Tim Duncan sat out some games. EDD is a one of the best in the League and sad that she gets put on the back burner a lot.
I'm with you about EDD, JellyBean. Whatever needs to be done to prolong her career and her high standard of performance would be fine with me.

Regarding Tim Duncan, however, he didn't sit out games other than for injury until he was in his late 30s, much older than EDD is now, and even with those absences he usually played more than 70 games most seasons.
