Oy, after 3 years in Melbourne (pop 4m), Josh or anyone could do a lot worse in life than chilling in the Gong (small city) with its’ Pacific beaches, Lake Illawarra, etc. about 90 min S of Sydney.

Also wonder if the teams pay of basically everything including rental homes, vehicles and meal expenses. My buddy played in different countries and it varied back in the day but he was getting 200K to 500K in the 80s-90s. That's after 4 years with the min of about 300-400K with the Bullets for 3-4 years. You can do well out there. In his 4-5 year finish in Belgium they paid for everything it was like just banking money.

Big debate over that ending. I agreed with nyhuskyfan’s (Gurleyman) argument that as talented as that team was it lacked a second decent ball handler. Plus Hilton suffered the ankle sprain.

My guess is Boatright will be docked 3-8 games, not a big deal. If so, the most important thing is a decision is made quickly so the clock can start ticking. Given the NCAA animosity toward UConn's Men's program - hopefully we won't see the foot dragging beyond the normal NCAA inefficiencies...

He's not making a million dollars a year in Australia. I think the marquee players in that league (and I have no idea if Boone is one of those) make less than half that and the role players are making 5 figures.
