Maybe we are deep, but we were NOT deep last year, esp after O got hurt. Look, I think it is a good move for RF and the team, but I do think it is silly to suggest we sit better talent. Had Wyatt or Vinci run in last year, there would be a separate post on what a waste of a RS. And here's a beer the first time the FB gets trucked that someone comes here spouting how another player should be in.

Well either Clax and/or Vinci are studs or Weist is moving a little bit away from using the FB.
But overall if RF is a bigger asset at DE then we use him there - no brainier.

The easy thing to do is to blame Edsall for putting him at the wrong position, but the cold hard reality is that there are some great athletes that don't have an easy, one size fits all position fit associated with them.

Hope Frank pays off at DE, but let's be real - if he were Javon Kearse, he would have been there all along.

He was behind a lot of guys on the Dline. I'm sure it was explained to him and he was offered a shot to get on the field on offense. It's what happens with most guys coming out of HS. Not a reflection on any coach or player. It's a good move to see if he can be more productive at another position. If he ends up as 'only' a special teams hero, that's fine. The team needs those guys too.

Tough to promise a 17-year old kid how exactly things will turn out. So we are today at reality and reality is DE. Nobody's fault. Just happens. Hope it works.

People are really blaming coaches for moving Frank to fullback? Yikes.

Please everyone make sure you're proactive and start a thread complaing about Matt Walsh being used as a fullback even though he has almost 0 experiencing blocking, and was an all state linebacker.

This board is odd some times. And by some times I mean most of the time.
