Not to be funny, but was this after he committed or after he decommited when that board brought up these concernsI grew up in Connecticut and moved to Florida at 13. I am a huge Uconn sports fan and also a huge Gator alumni and fan. One of the insiders on the Florida board has been saying the kid is highly overrated. Very thin and getting pushed around with very little offensive game. Kid also thinks he is a one and done which seems highly unlikely at this time
Read my mind. And did their coaching staff really not have a good sense of him as a player a few weeks ago? If not, that’s a real indictment of them, but highly doubtful that’s the case. Not to be funny, but was this after he committed or after he decommited when that board brought up these concerns
Or st. Johns... booWatch him end up at USC.
I sure hope not. But it would probably not surprise anyone sad to say.Or st. Johns... boo
Exactly. We have Singare. We’re good.Don’t spend much time worrying about this one.

Before he steps on to campus and he is already delegated to be a permanent fixture on the benchDo you think we're not recruiting a center in this class? It's been a major priority all summer. There's a good shot Singare is never more than a fine back up. He's raw
SJ was a highly rated recruit whose athleticism was legendary when he arrived . He also had a great handle , saw the floor as well as anyone and could delivered passes to those guys . His defense was always great . He could not shoot but I think i calling him raw is a bit of hyperbole. Before he steps on to campus and he is already delegated to be a permanent fixture on the bench
No chance to improve? I guess you can't count on being coached up in Storrs
He can't be any more raw than SJ who most of this board has penciled in as a bona fide starter and NBA bound
Are you talking about Andre Jackson? SJ in the post you responded to is Samson Johnson.SJ was a highly rated recruit whose athleticism was legendary when he arrived . The kid screamed NBA lead guard skills the first time I saw him .
Reminded me of a poor man’s Magic Johnson who was a pretty mediocre shooter in college . Of course Magic’s Basketball IQ was through the roof , AJ ‘s is a WIP .
How do they keep getting worse.Hard pass no thanks. Take it somewhere else. I don't want more thabeets.
You can say hard pass. But to say no Thabeets is incredibly disrespectful to Thabeet and frankly stupid.Hard pass no thanks. Take it somewhere else. I don't want more thabeets.
I feel bad piling on the kid. But he’s gotta ask his dad about some of these takes before posting. They’re just brutal. You can say hard pass. But to say no Thabeets is incredibly disrespectful to Thabeet and frankly stupid.

Ah yes, of course we don’t want a Big East POY and second team AA. Not that this kid may ever be these things, but interesting comp to flex. Maybe you don’t want a Javonte Brown Ferguson?Hard pass no thanks. Take it somewhere else. I don't want more thabeets.
Aren't you the same gang of comics that offered Jaden Rashada 13 million bucks and than yanked the offer after he committed?I grew up in Connecticut and moved to Florida at 13. I disagree, it is not incredibly disrespectful and stupid. I didn't know thabeet was a sore spot. I think of thabeet what NBA teams thought of him after 5 minutes. You can say hard pass. But to say no Thabeets is incredibly disrespectful to Thabeet and frankly stupid.
As skinny as he is, he'd better be Wembanyama 2.0. I'm not impressed by a guy 7'3" blocking 5 shots against 6'5" high schoolers. I need to see a lot more than that to be impressed. Why wouldn't we want a second Thabeet again? Am I missing something? IIRC he was a 7'3 behemoth that averaged almost 5 blocks a game. That's a bad thing?
Also... he's nothing like Thabeet.
An NBA team took him second overall. Do you think that was charity work?I disagree, it is not incredibly disrespectful and stupid. I didn't know thabeet was a sore spot. I think of thabeet what NBA teams thought of him after 5 minutes.
