UConn is 11th in the country in three pointers made per game and 20th in the country in three point FG percentage. That's out of 330-something teams. Caroline hits 36.9% of her threes which is second best on the team after Tiff.

You are looking at percentage . I am saying CD is not scoring with enough regularity, and neither is KF. Who cares if you shoot 50% on 4 shots! It's not enough points to force the defense to play you honestly. That's why they chart shots , where they come from , and which ones you make. I look at how many three pointers the team is taking and making. Yes 11 in the country sounds great, but not in a 4guard system. Haven't ever wondered why more teams don't play with 4guards? You probably need to make in the area 10 of 22 3pointers to make it work, plus transition to beat really good teams.

I realized that it may not have been you and was in the process of changing it to "the argument." The critique had been that CD and Kelly were liabilities because of not shooting that is not true of CD and less so of Kelly than many express in hyperbole. Even last night Kelly took and made a big 3 down the stretch.

On second look it was you who posted, "Pack the lane aganst SD, because CD and KF are non factors."

It is not true that CD is a non-factor.

Maybe that is because the team is not running plays for them to get shots in the same way they do for Tiff, Bria, or KML. CD and Kelly are not primary options their shots usually come in rotation.

Caroline is third on the team in 3 point FG attempts a game. Any coach with a half a brain knows that Caroline can make threes at respectable rate and that she needs to be guarded. That's why opponents are leaving Kelly open and not Caroline.

As for the 4 guard lineup - that's what ND plays, along with a lot of other teams. Do me a favor, before you start spouting a lot of words as "facts" try looking up some information before you cast your opinions in cement.

A few days ago I had inadvertantly used the phrase "beneath her dignity" while talking about Ms Intangible. I have been suffering from remorse since then and I have actually order sackcloth and ashes from Amazon.

However, it is difficult to digest the fact that some opponents are finding it beneath their dignity to guard her.
