Every time I see that damn inspirational espy speech, I am moved to tears by the passion, love, and resolve of that remarkable man! He has done so much for cancer research for not himself, but all of us. Let's take time at somepoint tonight to remember him! Let's not forget, he was a member of the UConn family.

I loved V's story about his time at UConn. He said "I was a Long Island guy so they thought it would be easy to send me to seal the deal on a Long Island kid (Pitino) who was already pretty much decided on going to UConn. I spend a day with the kid, he decides to go to UMass and I'm out of a job".

Knowing V I'm sure that the story is pretty far removed from the truth but it was funny as hell when he said it.
