Some person called "Anonymous" provided two scathing criticisms of Geno and CD for their "stubborness" [sic] in recruiting. S/he then gleefully predicted the inevitable doom of the team, er, program because of their general coaching ineptitude.

Not yet satisfied, he ridiculed the UConn vs. Cincy game with a special dose of scorn for Kelly.

I can see why Anonymous prefers to remain anonymous.

I honestly wonder what is going on with recruiting. Briana, and,Canada both were UCONN strong,at one point, oh,well...really interesting especially with Turner :(. A'ja Wilson will land at USC, or the Tarholes unfortunately, if what I am hearing is true. Many in Columbia feel she is going to UNC :(

I'm not too worried yet, but the landscape is clearly shifting. Geno wants 2 more bigs and 2 more guards in addition to Ekmark. We really need either Wilson or Turner. I like the sound of Canada's game. The news on Calhoun is encouraging, though we were told that she had an offer already. We need to keep in mind most news is second- or third-hand and things can change. But it's clear that, after a 1-player class, we need a bigger class. Probably at least 3-4.

After what transpired with DeShields,I wouldn't get too excited,or down, about any of the rumors floating about. She was considered pretty much a lock, and we all know how that turned our.Kids are hard to figure. This class,I am figuring, will be 4 or 5,with a surprise or two,but that is just my guess, bsed on no inside information,or knowledge.I still feel good about Calhoun, but, what do i know.

I didn't much care for the level of play at the Cincy game either and Kelly indeed had a miserable start in front of WNBA types.
I surely hoped for better.
Don't know if I would go off on a diatribe about it and I don't know squat about recruiting.
Does that make me a Troll?

Well for one going forward we do not know if we will have some semblance of a good conference to play in. That's like promising someone if you come work for a struggling start up company we promise you a great future. Do you see a future in the Big Least?

Would you have felt better if we won 120-50? Or would you complain about giving up 50? Most of us know why the game was the way it was, and are OK with it. You don't embarrass people you love.

People just have to take a deep breath and relax, Geno has done this for the past 28 years and I bet he has done a magnificent job running this program.. Players adjust to the rigors and challenges of the elite college basketball differently and he has proven it time after time again that he gets the best of each player he has coached for the most part and we just have to wait and see.. It's not how u start that matters most but it's how you finish it..

Lol, Geno Auriema, a 28 year flash in the pan.

I was very pleasantly surprised to hear that we were recruiting Kathryn Westbeld, the 6'2 power forward out of Fairmount High in Ohio. I have followed her and her 6'2 teammate Makayla Waterman for quite sometime now, and both girls can really play.Geno must see some Kelly Faris in the Westbeld girl. She WOULD be a great fit I think, but we all know how recruiting is. You never know someone may turn out !
I would like for Geno to perhaps take a look at Katelyn Flaherty, a 5'9 point guard out of Manasquan, Nj. Last year she played with Michaela Mabrey, and this year she is dishing to Michaela's younger sis Marina.
I am never sure what Geno wants, but I bet if he asked, all of them would come !
GO UCONN GO.
To Harry Perretta whom I respect and admire.
Hello and good night, and I hope your guys play great !
