Nice, but they need to watch the tape of the Syracuse game. Someone is missing from the list.

Seriously? no Tiff? that's ridiculous.
No Peters either? I don't think or hope this is not final additions./list? Tiff has played her way onto a # of lists! If she continues her consistent AA level of play the rest of the season, not only will some awards be there, but along with that if our 6+continues to move towards 7,8,9 the biggest award becomes more of a possibility I agree re: your ist,2nd,3rd BE list Bria,
Tiffany, and KML I really hope Kelly makes the BE list

The two expected frosh are on the list. They are clearly a cut above.

Not manny people outside of UConn saw the last some games in which Tiff was real good (AA good). If she can play like this in the big games (starting with the Duke game) she will be added.

I know I shouldn't get upset, but they keep Stricklen on the list and her stats have dropped over the last 10 games, and remove Hayesin, whose stats have improved over the last 10 games.

Current stats

MPG Stricklen 31.8 Hayes 28.5
PPG Stricklen 14.9 Hayes 15.7
RPG Stricklen 6.3 Hayes 5.7
APG Stricklen 1.9 Hayes 3.4
Assist/TO Stricklen .8 Hayes 1.8
Steals Stricklen 31 Hayes 44
FG% Stricklen 105/245 .436 Hayes 108/197 .548
3pt% Stricklen 31/89 .348 Hayes 26/62 .419
FT% Stricklen 42/54 .778 Hayes 72/92 .783

Scratching my head on this one.

Stricklen was anointed a "great" player her frosh year and it seems like there has never been a re-evaluation. If I'm a WNBA GM, I seriously consider taking Tiff instead of Stricklen, depending on need. If I have to have offense and don't care about the rest of the game, I probably take Stricklen. Otherwise I take Tiff. (but I'm biased)

Taylor Hill of Ohio State and Maggie Lucas of Penn State both missing in favor of their PGs while being the leading scores on those teams, too.

You and me both Doggy.

One thing that frustrates me about WCBB is the lack of thought that goes into these sort of things. You wouldn't see something this glaring on the men's side.

One of my favorite stats is Points per Field Goal Attempt. Pretty simple, but powerful. Stricklen is at an ok but not great 1.16. Tiffany is just shy of 1.6, which is close to unheard of--anything over 1.5 is spectacular. I checked out the players who I thought might be close (Griner, Nneka, EDD, Sims) and they couldn't match Tiff; it looks like she is #1 in the country for PTS/FGA!

Yup, not much justice in those figures.

I agree. Tayler Hill is having a great season. No Brittany Rayburn either?
