I was really pleased to see Geno's comments. I can't even imagine what Caroline has gone through "for the love of the game" and her willingness to go through all these rehabs, knowing that each injury has diminished her athleticism. I do think she is a real stabilizing force and when her knee (and pain) allows her to untrack a little, she can surely contribute in a significant way, as she did last night. There were times in the second half when Duke was on the verge of getting back in the game and then Caroline hit a key three to knock the wind out of their sails. Well done!

Doty finished with 11 points, three rebounds and three assists

And a blocked shot :-)

.....and it was a cagey play, too, no pun intended! Loved how she was so sneaky from behind

The blocked shot was followed by a dagger 3-pointer.

I was very proud of and happy for Caroline.

Our kids are really, really tough mentally. No one out there is going to ease up when the outcome of the game is in doubt--or generally until the final buzzer even if it is a blowout.

Doty's shooting against Duke was pivotal to our win.
I was happy with the win, but lately our outside shooting has not been one of our strong points and not just KML.

Doty's revival with ease the pressure on KML and allow her to play her game......Watch what happens this weekend............UCONN will kick RU's butts by 30.........Maybe, more.....

These 3 road games against Baylor, ND, and Duke should make them better prepared for the post season.
