There will be so many asterisks in sports for this year. Around the planet, there is a thin layer of black within the rocks. That was the layer of ash created by the great asteroid that smashed into the earth and destroyed most life on the planet, and killed off the dinosaurs. In decades to come, when people look at those asterisks in the sports stats, they'll know that it was the year of the great coronavirus infection.

Let's hope that there will be just one of those asterisk years.
