I have never once seen the appeal of Grant. His athleticism is about his only positive and he's way too small to be a PF in the NBA and not even close to being skilled enough to play outside.

I'm guessing he'll be a late first round pick that a team will try to develop into a "3 & D" guy. He's a pretty big project.

right? but even approaching the label of "3&d" is far off. guy has made 6 career triples, 0 this past season. Terrific athlete and rebounder. Love his lineage. If we came to uconn he would have developed a skillset. poor grant, poor fair

I wonder if those guys declaring makes it more likely that DD returns.

If so, it's a win-win, in that other teams will be weaker, and our guys could be compelled to stay.

Someone mentioned Tyrus Thomas in another thread. That's pretty much Grant right now. Of course he could always develop with a good attitude.

Syracuse could not have had a worse march/April . Absolutely implode down the stretch, get bounced by an 11 seed in their backyard, meanwhile their most hated team breezes to NC as a 7 seed and they lose their two best players, neither of whom should even entertain declaring.

It almost seems like karma for how much that board gave us through the APR ban, new coach and CR.

I would say my usual derogatory statements about them, but I can't even muster the strength to put down such a hot mess of a program. It's too easy at this point.

tyrus thomas maybe phyisically , but thomas at one point looked like a game changing shot blocker. grant has physical tools of an nba player, I just don't see a small forwards game. Maybe a garbage kenneth faried kind of guy.

Grant is not a surprise. I have seen one mock with Robinson is the first round, which I think is a little aggressive. Harrell and Caulley-Stein coming back is good news for Daniels, and if Parker stays in school it will be even better. I don't see the Harrison twins going pro either.

Grant doesn't even looks like he enjoys playing………Robinson is intriguing but a tweener………

These guys coming out though make it tougher on DD……..he should seriously stay have a beast of a year and go in the Top 15 next year
