Public enemy #1 this year. Has been anti Uconn at every opportunity. Normally I think the talking heads who get bullseyes around here are more noticed because of their generally critical personalities(I.e. gotlieb) but Goodman has bet big on the UConn do not pass line. First was the "should not be ranked stuff." Lately he's taken to twitter to say "Kemba is not walking through that door" and "Harvard is the best team in New England."

Frankly I'm pleased to have a Villain. Let's see how long he goes before eating a healthy portion of Crow.

You are playing into his hands. He wants to be relevant, and this is how he does it.

On the other hand, I want him to play into UConn's hands. Keep busting his nutz so that he starts writing more bulletin board material for Kevin Ollie. It's evident that our players pay attention to this sort of stuff.

I wish everyone would realize his goal is to antagonize. A page view is a page view, doesn't matter why someone is clicking on the link. He is obviously trolling - he picks out a few teams to troll every year. Look at him this year w/ Andrew Wiggins. If you are going to respond to him on twitter (or wherever else), please, don't attempt a rational response and just tell him that he looks like he is from the Goonies/has Downs.

I'm glad he's picked us. He picked the wrong team. It's going to be fun watching him look stupid.

The best of both worlds is that we have one or two posters bust his chops to continue the bulletin board material but everyone else leaving him in his own vacuum. Unlike Ostrout, whose "laziness" or "carelessness" could have started some serious backlash on Giffey or KO, I could care less about most of the reporters and what they write.

UConn gets to play Harvard so this issue will be settled. I'm just glad he didn't say PC was the best in New England!

I just wish he'd try and disguise it. This isn't even fun.

Everybody is right. This is the oldest trick in the book. Say something controversial to get people talking about you. It just seems like its worse with people who cover college basketball.

Guys, we're all looking at this the wrong way. We should be thanking Goodman for this...

In 2011, Gottlieb kept picking against us all post-season, and he was our lucky charm to winning the title.

Hopefully Goodman can provide the same type of luck.

The best team in New England is in the fight of it's life right now with Holy Cross.

ESPN actually hired the tool. Not sure who is doing the hiring evaluations but it has gotten so bad over the years. I won't even look online at espn anymore for college hoops coverage between humans Seth Greenberg there crap is unreadable

It's called the Greg Doyel approach... I think he mastered it a few years back. the guy would attack anyone and watch his ratings and clicks soar.
People catch on and get tired of the act eventually.

For the non-KenPom subscribers: at no point in last year's game against Harvard was UConn below 69% chance to win the game. Only 6 of the 40 minutes of the game were high-leverage.

In other words, it was never in doubt.

this is at it again!

3. Daniel Hamilton never lands at UConn.

This one won’t make me any friends in Storrs, but I’m just not convinced that the youngest Hamilton will stick with his pledge to go across the country and play for Kevin Ollie. Remember, the middle Hamilton brother, Isaac, never showed at UTEP (he wanted to play closer to his sick grandmother) and is now sitting out at UCLA. Don’t be shocked if Daniel, a talented offensive player who needs to learn the meaning of a quality shot, follows his brother and becomes a Bruin.

Someone tweet at this b!tch how DHam is currently on the East Coast about to attend his second UConn game in 72 hours, approximately 48 hours before the early signing period begins. NO WAY Hamilton is coming to Storrs, Goodman's a genius.

Goodman has no clue that Hamilton just flew to NY on his own dime to watch UConn at Barclays and then went to campus for the weekend.
