Reminds me of a combo of Michael and LeBron.
Let’s not get carried away now. I was thinking more reasonable comparisons like Dr. J or Scottie Pippen.

I've been thinking his athleticism reminds me of a young Dr. J. How's that for jumping the shark. It was just a comparison and not a career prediction. This is what discussion forums are for.
JR covers a lot of ground with just 2 steps like Dr J, but he seems to shoot it from deep better. A good comparison would be a long 6-7 wing who handles like a guard, has long strides when drivng in the paint and had a quick accurate release 3. How about a poor man's Kobe.I've been thinking his athleticism reminds me of a young Dr. J. How's that for jumping the shark.

Ross is Dr. J with a better shot!JR covers a lot of ground with just 2 steps like Dr J, but he seems to shoot it from deep better. Again, just having fun to come up with a comparison. I rewatched the game and still am so impressed with what he did and is capable of regardless of what the competition was the other night. He had a turnaround step back fade away J that almost went in that you just don't see from many college players. Most players couldn’t do what he did if guarded by a chair.![]()
Tarris Reed reminds me of Coolidge from The White Shadow.
In addition to some of your points, Jayden was just not physically ready last season and Hurley had to use the minutes available to develop the players that gave the team the best chance of winning. Of the other underclassman (Castle, Stewart and Ball) they were physically more ready and a better fit for what was needed.I think we can all agree that the sky is the limit for Ross. I loved him last season, but as others have stated, the Roster was stacked last year. Sometimes it's good for these kids to spend some time on the bench and see how to conduct themselves. High School to College is a big change for these guys and to think that they can step foot on campus and have it all figured out is unrealistic. I think letting these young men, develop and to figure it out is a good thing. Everyone can't be Steph Castle. He was kind of a freak of nature.

No, hard to imagine. Frightening for opponents, opposing Coaches probably still having nightmares about him coming back! This whole bevy of awesome wings we have prompted me to go back and look at the mid-80's Georgetown teams with Reggie Williams, David Wingate, etc. Of course, they had Ewing too. Can you imagine this squad with Clingan if he had returned??!!
I must have missed those type drives from Ray Allen. He was not as skilled with the ball as Ross appears to be and was not as strong in college as Ross has become. Ray was more about finesse and skill with his outside shots. His drives to the hoop reminded me of Ray, especially that second one.

Sir, you have made a very dumb statement and you have a chance to either retract it or double down. But maybe watch this video first.I must have missed those type drives from Ray Allen. Yeah, Ray was OK.I must have missed those type drives from Ray Allen. He was not as skilled with the ball as Ross appears to be and was not as strong in college as Ross has become. Ray was more about finesse and skill with his outside shots.
Ray, although known as one of the best college and pro deep shooters, he was pretty good at taking it to the basket.Amazing to say the least! Incredible to think that the best deep shooter of all time could also absolutely dominate above the rim like he did in a big boy, physical conference.
Ray could go to the basket I recall one play where he stayed in the air until everyone came down and by the time he hit the floor again we were Big East champions. I own the like but meant to hit reply……I must have missed those type drives from Ray Allen. I believe he will go down as the greatest player in historyI think we can all agree that the sky is the limit for Ross. He dunked on everyone as a Buck and Supersonic. It's weird how people only seem to remember him as a Celtic and Heat player.Ray Allen freshman and sophomore year had some serious hops and drove the lane a decent amount. Remember those dunks and calf muscles?
Junior year and NBA he was much perimeter oriented.
