People who have spoken to him are pretty confident in their UConn pick. So I'm feeling confident too.
I asked one of the recruiting analysts and they think he would be ranked in the 55-70 range if he was ranked in the 2020 class. A little raw but lots of upside.
2020. Said he needs to get more reps and get stronger and then he can be "really, really good." Remember that a lot of the analysis that goes into rankings is projecting. Not everything is based on production to date.Do you mean 2021? Because I can't imagine that is accurate for 2020. I meann he wasn't even ranked that high in 2021 before he transfered back to thornlea and stopped being evaluated
A guy like cardwell had significantly better stats on a better aau circuit and is ranked 160 composite
Javonte Brown Ferguson has a good body frame with length, that he can potentially put muscle on. Bigs you have to project more because they are just starting to catch up to their bodies after a huge growth spurt. They also don’t get a lot of touches on some AAU teams.Do you mean 2021? 2020. Significantly better prospect than Cardwell, staff thinks so.Do you mean 2021? Because I can't imagine that is accurate for 2020. I meann he wasn't even ranked that high in 2021 before he transfered back to thornlea and stopped being evaluated

There's a reason all the recruiting analysts, especially the ones who have spoken to him or people around him recently, are predicting it will be UConn. These things aren't 100% though. Recruiting being fluid and all that. So be skeptical if you want. Probably better that way and you'll be more surprised on Wednesday.I honestly don't believe much of the he said she said. There's usually one other reliable source outside of the parents/guardians, the actual recruit.
Let's just hope Wednesday the announced school is Uconn.
You need to divide the rankings of all Canadian kids by 111.You also need to remember that he’s a Canada kid. Often times Canadian kids aren’t ranked accurately because they aren’t seen by everyone and are often not involved as much (if at all) with AAU. Also, some ranking services don’t rank Canada kids at all so the composite rankings are often skewed.
True, but the flip of two over the past 2 days, only days before his announcement, is not a bad sign.Iowa State just landed Xavier Foster. He had 100% (7 of 7) of his CBs going to Iowa. The fact we are getting picks for Javonte Brown Ferguson is good news but doesn’t mean he’s a lock. View attachment 47976
Def not a bad sign any time you get CBs. Still just can’t take them as the Gospel.True, can but the flip of two over the past 2 days, only days before his announcement, is not a bad sign.
(Still doomed)
