Kansas gave up a 6 pt lead with 1:30 to go in the 2nd half. 3 turnovers. Then gave up a 6 pt lead with 0:30 to go in overtime. 2 missed fouls shots and a turnover. Then got smacked in double OT. Ouch.

Just watched the end of the Tennessee-Auburn game. You want to see a bad ref call watch what I think was the 2nd to last TN possession. Broome grabbed the TN player from behind causing the TN player to fall backwards and stumble and they called him for a travel. Ridiculous call. Barnes was so upset he threw his water bottle to the ground and they had to stop the game to clean it up. No T though as the refs probably knew they messed up the call.

Brilliant, outside of the box roster building strategy on Scheyer’s part to think bringing in Flagg would be a good idea.
He changed the way the roster building will he done in the future by getting Flagg.

Cincy lost by nearly 30 to BYU to fall to 2-6 in conference. I know it's petty but I hope they continue to struggle forever. Same way I hope Cuse, BC, Rutgers, et al. continue to fall into obscurity.

Houston has been impressive since joining the Big 12. However, Kelvin Sampson is almost 70 so I think UH's window of relevance is only 5 more years max.

As bad as many of us feel with the UConn loss @HuskyHawk must be miserable.
Houston is good, they lost in OT. That team has problems, just like UConn does. Still a tournament team. Fans are (this may sound familiar) arrogant and spoiled.

Tennessee and Auburn shot 15% and 18% from 3. Both sides scored just over 100 points..,, together.

I know you are a "measured" fan and would take the losses in stride.

Now I know why Uconn is getting all the best players out of Indiana. What kid would want to play for Woodson?

To be fair, I didn't watch it. So there was no blood pressure increase or screaming as they blew a late lead then lost in OT. I just saw the final result, which, without other context, is a lot less bad than losing to WVU at home (and I did watch that unfortunately).

The travails of a sports fan.

You you’ve made it to some form of Rushmore coaching relevancy when a Duke fan posts on a UK board comparing Coach K to Hurley:

I wonder if Duke fans appreciate that all of that bitching done by K was with a truckload of 5 stars against teams that were not so well stocked. Did he care? No.
All of these coaches are trying to win desperately. Hurley just doesn’t hide his emotions.

NC State playing Duke tough. Up 4 at the half. Probably their best half this year. Problem is, there are 20 minutes left and Cooper Flagg. Go State!

Flagg on a 2 on 1. Looked like he should have passed, but ended up leaping from what looked like the foul line for a dunk. This lad is an athlete. Reminds me of Larry Bird. BTW….4 airballs and no points for NC St in the first four minutes of the second half. Duke up 4 now.

Kid is a far better athlete than Larry. There was only one Larry. Jokic is the closest thing we’ve seen.

Dukes undoing will be on the offensive side of the ball. They run nothing. Their roster would be exactly the type Hurley could go to school with.

I'm watching this Duke game and I'm not seeing all the hype I've read on here the last week or two. I'm sure they're pretty good and better than this game but they don't look like world beaters.

The second half of this Duke game has been like a fever dream. Maluach puked all over the court then some girl in the crowd had to get dragged out because she had passed out. Bizarre stuff.
