January General CBB Discussion Thread (Non-BE)

Rob Dauster talking about Michigan going 40-0 and only the Spurs and Thunder being able to slow them down. Turns out all it took was a Wisconsin team playing on the road who already has 5 losses (30 point losses to BYU and Nebraska, 10 point loss to Nova in Milwaukee.) That's after Michigan should've lost to Penn State without Penn State's leading scorer.
Turns out being a reactionary gets you into saying a lot of stuff that looks dumb really quick

Ah my shadow. Now look at the fun you’re having rubbing it in. You’re welcome. Color me surprised with this one. One of the benefits of having a rim protector is to extend d to the 3 point line.

As always, if I actually shadowed your posts I wouldn’t have time to do anything else.

Still waiting to hear how Solo Ball is both the alpha scorer every top team needs and having a lackluster season. We’re 16-1, FYI

It would be cool to see them dominate the Big 12, which would actually look good for us. But yeah getting to No. 1 would be nice
I want to be number one after the lady game is played on a Monday night in April. Anything before that is nice, but not necessary.

Bama-Texas turning into a fun game. Texas just has settled for a lot of really bad shots this second half, which has let Bama back into it.

Texas upsets Bama, still time for them to turn their season around, they would be in even better shape if they hadn't choked away a win last week vs Miss State at home

It's hard to imagine what they could have been thinking calling the timeout. You could hand the ball to the opponent and still win in that situation.

For real, just roll it down the court like a kid bowling.

The SEC is a very weird league this year. I'm honestly now sure who I would take to win that thing. Is Vandy really this good?

None of the early picks can establish themselves, UF, Bama, Florida, Arkansas. This one looks like it's going to be a crapshoot.

I think the league is wildly overrated, and will be overseeded because of how well it has gamed the efficiency ratings. Alabama could be a 10 loss 2 seed. Who wouldn’t want that in our region?

Last year I felt the SEC was somewhat overrated with mid teams getting wins against the bottom and going 1-4 vs the top, so getting 14 teams into the dance was crazy.

This year I hope they don't get 14 because there is no way 14 teams deserve it at this point so gotta let the season shake out.

I am more worried about our next game @ Seton Hall than the field of 67 come dancing time.

Doubt it - the winner of the sec likely gets a 2.

Ones will be b10 winner, b12 winner, UConn and then best of Duke and 2nd place team of those two leagues.
