You’d rather do this than PK80, Maui, Atlantis, preseason NIT? KInstead of just scheduling PC, there should be a preseason New England invitational with BC, Vermont, PC, UMass, UConn and a few others. Let them fight it out.
Fans would love it, and we eliminate two or three cupcakes a year

I could give 2 F&ks about Tulsa
Make our OOC schedule every year:
Cuse, Nova, Gtown, PC, Pitt, PC

Meh. I forgot the game was even being played last night. I checked the Yard when I went to bed and saw the threads. Whatever connectivity that there ever was is dead and buried, IMO.
You know, I don’t disagree. I used to be hell bent on this. I thought we needed it and I still think it will sell tickets which brings in $$ which so many here seem to take for granted. But at the end of the day it’s not that important to me any more. I don’t think we need it, we’ve moved on. Recruiting is rocking in NE and the conference and it’s recruiting is beyond my expectations. If it happens then great, if it doesn’t I’ve come to learn PC will do just fine without it.For the past 25 or more years, playing them was a collective yawner for us. Beating them did nothing for us, but they treated it like their annual Super Bowl. I'd rather play a P5 conference team if all we're trying to do is upgrade our schedule by removing one cupcake opponent. Beating one more mid major opponent isn't going to help us unless they're ranked in the top 10 when the game is played. Other than some nostalgic PC fans, nobody cares about this so-called 'rivalry'.
IDK. Maybe they're uncomfortable with the word "proximate."And for the life of me why would anyone not want a proximate away game with a traditional rival every other year.
Did you watch last night?
you're on the wrong board
