Have the students started howling every time he scores? If not, they should start doing that immediately.

That would be cool - but he's got to score a little more to make that happen. He had one basket tonight. One howl isn't going to cut it. If you want the wolf howl for every rebound, I'm good with that. Might motivate him a little more. He had 9 tonight.

He did a lot of good things and the minutes he was in were positive while not as much so for Tyler......he disrupts shots some just by being 7' others because he moves his feet and arms.........but he played well tonight and deserved a few more minutes at the end of the first half.......

Ha. He needs to get a lot more minutes than Olander.

Only issue is it seems that every time he has a good game he gets rewarded with minutes and puts up a dud. After the NC State game he couldn't board at all against Harvard. I like the way he's progressing though, we're still going to continue to see uneven performances but he gives some hope for next year.

He got in foul trouble against Harvard if I remember correctly and didn't play many minutes.......he should play more minutes than Tyler no doubt but as you say, inconsistency makes it tough on the staff. There is hope though.........

He's kind of the opposite of Giffey...he goes out and tries to make plays, then needs to pull himself in to stay in better focus and control. Giff is staying too uptight, only let's it go when the shotclock is winding down and there are no other options.

It was great to see Enosch out there fighting for the ball, diving on the floor, ripping the ball away, getting some big boards. Good to see some fire him him.

That alley-oop dunk was ridiculously good (the pass was ridiculously bad, but all's well that ends well)! He reached behind his head and then smashed it through the rim with the follow through. AWOOOOO!!!! ;)

Great energy and hustle tonight from Wolf. I didn't see either of his zero rebound games. Seeing him tonight, I can't understand how that happened.

I thought TO had a solid game as well and Phil Nolan gave us some good minutes. I like the rotation...develop all three for next year!

He needs to contribute every game and not skip any.

THIS is the best. Paul Winter Consort plays the winter solstice concert every year (30+ years now) for 4 nights at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in NYC. The place is packed (50oo) for every performance. Probably the best NYC holiday show. St John is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world.

One song performed is 'Wolf Eyes'. At the end of the song, he invites the entire audience to join in a 'howlleluya courus', and the entire dark cathedral erupts into a courus of 'awwooooos' for 1-2 minutes. Very impactful if you're sitting there in the dark 'awooing' to the 12' diameter Earth that they have hoisted up into the cavernous rafters of the crossing lit by a sole spotlite while the cello, bass, and cathedral organ hold a looooong low note pedal point.

Clearly something to institute at Gampel.

The cathedral also has a 6' bronze statue of a wolf in its collection along the walls.

Here's a YouTube link. Zip to the 6:00 mark to catch the communal howl at the end.
