It's not fair

.-.
Was just thinking about how much talent we have and this team. Let me be the first to say enjoy the run with this team. I can see us losing a handful of players to the NBA very soon. We might end up with 2 one and done’s.

They didn’t need to take the game if they didn’t want to play us in NYC. We always had to play actual NCAA tourney games in North Carolina. Thats a different ball of wax.

This game wasn’t scheduled as a “neutral.” UConn plays them in Chicago next year as part of the two-year deal.
Aren't they both considered "neutral" venues?

Mojo terminator. Nothing good will ever come from posts like this.

For stats purposes, MSG is semi-home for UConn and The United Center, where they’ll play next year, is semi-home for Illinois.

You'd have to think Chicago will be a much heavier Illinois fan base - can't see a lot of UConn fans showing up for that one.

Duke and UNC often get two home games in the NCAA tournament. There was at least one year when Dook went to the Final Four without leaving NC.

Playing IL in NYC in November (or December) is not the same as tournament games in March

Plus everyone wants NYC exposure (as opposed to say Charlette)
