You know to watch us win one, then having a once in a lifetime player single handedly lead you to a championship thinking you've evened it up, only to see us win 3 more over the next 10 years... the latest coming after we came back from the dead after you started the year 25-0. You literally can't make this stuff up. So many Ws for us uconn fans. Love you guys :)

If you're really up for a good schadenfreude, look back at their board from when we were making our tourney run.

Wait this kid in in college, at Cuse now?

HAHAHAHAHAHA wow... internet Cuse fans never fail.

Here he was last night, at 1:30 on a Friday, on a UConn internet forum, talking , probably drunk and alone.
Meanwhile, I'd say around the same time last night/this morning I was passed out after going out and getting my d-ck wet.

But then again, would you bother going out chasing whatever is waddling around Syracuse NY?

Hey, I was home alone posting on a UCONN internet forum on a Friday night. No shame there. It was raining. And I'm not in college. But I get your point.

How did I completely miss a poster by the name of Mantonio?
Mantonio was a poster on the SU board that during our 2011, kept predicting UConn to lose every game and how UConn was effed and destined to become a mid major. Haven't seen him around in quite some time but his avatar and this duderino's avatar are eerily similar.

I enjoy the Cuse people constant ramblings about how UCONN's path in 2011 was "the easiest ever". Yep, that was one of our FOUR national championships.

They seem to forget all the nice draws their heroes had laid in front of them and how their team managed to screw those up.

And, aren't they embarrassed to have those 2 Helms title banners dead center at the top of their forum? It looks like something you'd see on The Onion. I mean, come on...a mythical national championship after scoring 24 pts and winning vs. St Lawrence, Alfred, Niagara and Army in the 1920's??? Whatever makes you feel good in the morning I guess.

I still say that's better than 25-0 historic start tshirts, at least the Helms thing is actually a thing, no matter how minuscule. The fact that they have 4 or 5 Onion moments is hilarious though.

Whats funny is that they have no excuse for their lack of success other than that their system doesn't work... they recruit nothing but long athletic top 50 guys who stay 2-4 years.

Perhaps we caught a break or two, particularly with only having to bring our home whites to the Final Four as a 3 seed. However, when we faced a couple of virtual road games in Anaheim against SDSU and Arizona, it didn't feel easy going in. And when Arizona took Duke behind the woodshed in the second half and did stuff to them which you can only speak of in hushed tones, we weren't exactly all here saying "Wow, what a break! Easy Street from here." The tone was closer to "I'd rather play Duke."

And any Big East fan who complains about us only having to play Butler in the final has their heads in the sand. Butler beat a couple of Big East one seeds in back to back years (Syracuse 2010, Pitt 2011). They owned the Big East, til we restored a little order.

Not to mention Cuse lost to 11 seeded Marquette in the 2nd round.
