There aren't any 1s with top 5 offense and defense. There's not a dominant team this year and I'm in the camp that we could snipe anyone at anytime. I just don't think we are consistent enough to run the table. Oklahoma is a favorable first game.

Having a deeply flawed 2 Seed in SJU is a rare thing as well. We probably couldn't have asked for a better draw on that alone.

Truly one game at a time with these team. Hoping we get a fair whistle and let the kids dictate the results on their terms.

Hurley will have to pull something out of his hat if we get to Florida because they are substantially better at every position on the floor other than maybe Tarris at the true 5.

lol we all know you’re fanboying like crazy over Florida lately but there’s no law that says if you’re playing real good on offense that you can’t also play good on defense!

It’s an interesting stat and the metrics suggests their defense has slipped lately vs earlier in the season

We need to learn from the SH and Nova games (and the select few others) where we played with sustained intensity. I believe that is what is going to make or break us in the tournament. While I think we are flawed: we have witnessed Tarris dominate on the glass and single handedly drive us, we have witnessed Liam not being denied, and we have yet to witness our three point shooters all have good games. We are very low floor, pretty high ceiling...at least offensively.

We can beat anyone and also lose to anyone in this field. The problem is we haven't put together a good five game streak all season. We depend too much on guys making outside shots. Not a ton of inside or midrange scoring and you know we don't get a lot of foul shots. We had the Dream Season. How about a Miracle Season?
