What’re we thinking? I like the matchup against a freshman go to player.
Hurley will have to pull something out of his hat if we get to Florida because they are substantially better at every position on the floor other than maybe Tarris at the true 5.Tough draw. Oklahoma can be good. And Florida is a nightmare right now.
Because they’re been hammering teams offensively. You can’t rely on the data so much that you ignore the why. They win most games by 20.Looking at Florida's last 10 games, they are trending more like a 30ish defense (96.5), not the 13th ranked defense they finished with. (Torvik rating)
Lol no. Doomed! This is about as easy a draw as we could have hoped for. We got the weakest 1 and a 9 that’s on fumes after getting annihilated in the SEC.Tough draw. Oklahoma can be good. And Florida is a nightmare right now.
Again.I'd love to mow down some SEC teams

Ok back to the drawing board. How'd they not get the #1 overall?Because they’re been hammering teams offensively. You can’t rely on the data so much that you ignore the why. They win most games by 20.
That’s what I’m talking about. Weed out the scary cats!I think we can beat anybody. One at a time, play our A game.
Boll will be a nice additionNot to get ahead of ourselves, but …
Our 3 point defense against the shooters that Florida has is a bad matchup. We’ve been torched by 3s, and they torch the opponent with 3’s
Oklahoma - we will need to find a way. They break teams down with quick driving guards. You know, the kind thats slices up our D. McNeeley, Karaban and Boll will need to shoot very well.
Corrected the typoBoll will be a nice addition

lol we all know you’re fanboying like crazy over Florida lately but there’s no law that says if you’re playing real good on offense that you can’t also play good on defense!Because they’re been hammering teams offensively. You can’t rely on the data so much that you ignore the why. They win most games by 20.
We need to learn from the SH and Nova games (and the select few others) where we played with sustained intensity. I believe that is what is going to make or break us in the tournament. While I think we are flawed: we have witnessed Tarris dominate on the glass and single handedly drive us, we have witnessed Liam not being denied, and we have yet to witness our three point shooters all have good games. We are very low floor, pretty high ceiling...at least offensively. We can beat anyone. I wanna believe that the team learned from Creighton. Play top D. Run your sets. We win. Period. It’s freaking March.
We can beat anyone and also lose to anyone in this field. The problem is we haven't put together a good five game streak all season. We depend too much on guys making outside shots. Not a ton of inside or midrange scoring and you know we don't get a lot of foul shots. We had the Dream Season. How about a Miracle Season?I think we can beat anybody. One at a time, play our A game.
