His Dad brought championship swagger before we had it overflowing. From the Pitt game to the end of the CC game his dad brought it that famous season. If this kid can play and has some of his dad's spirit then I hope we treat him like family royalty. Waiting on more of these too I'm sure they are out there.

What does CC mean? I know about Pitt.. who can forget that... jumping up on the table pointing the crowd who kept calling him fat boy

Dag his son is just a longer light skinned version of him... very strong genes Khalid has.... Would be something to see him bringing that swag to where his pops helped us "Shock The World"

Yes. It was early in the morning. :) It was CC but I meant NC even though they also won CC.

You know I'd love to have him here, but I wonder if it wouldn't be better for him to go somewhere his dad would cast quite so large a shadow.

Lol, yep, that was my reaction as well. KEA was one of my favorite Huskies. If his son is good enough, I'd love to have him here.

To be fair, Khalid already had kids when he was at UCONN. All up he's got 7 in total!

Ish El-Amin is ranked in the 30s in the class of 2017.

Seems like a guy Ollie would go after. Keeping UConn basketball a FAMILY. Kid looks like he knows how to play, and looks like a team player and good passer.

It's been long enough that he will be his own man.

No way. The kid has moxie like the old man we sign him in a heartbeat. Bet he has his dad's shooting gene.

The question is can he beat his old man today in a one on one game, Khalid is still playing overseas at age 35.

I would say no not at this point cause i bet his dad can shoot even better than when he was a Husky, but in 2 years he will run circles around him.
