After that stinker aginst SJU and tough close games against bottom feeders like PC and UCF, Seton Hall is an important game to re-establish momentum. Yes, I know we're banned form the NCAAs. but a loss here and the bottom could fall out.

It's gut check time to be sure.

Winning 4/5 heading into Cuse on Wed is a lot better than having lost the past two. I don't know if it's a must win, but it's pretty close.

It is a must get to game first...the team is still in Storrs.

Do they have any word about the game maybe being postponed? Roads are just starting to get cleared.

'Must-win' game has to be the most over used phrase in all of sports.

Using it in reference to a regular season game vs. Seton Hall in a season where we are are banned pretty much illustrates that.

Not trying to be a , even thought I know I was, but...come on.

"Must-win" isn't the right way to think about it. But it certainly is the case that losing games to the likes of St. John's or Seton Hall, and eking out close wins against Providence and South Florida doesn't portend well for us to be top-10-caliber material next year.

The silver lining of the NCAA's jacka$$ery is that no game is a must win.

I get your point, but no, losing another game doesn't mean we can't just turn it right around.

Anyone know if the team could get / got out of Storrs today and head for Newark??

The team left Storrs at 7:00 tonight.

And now the team bus is stuck in the snow, according to a tweet from Phil Nolan.

It really is that kind of year where beating Seton Hall would even be considered a "must" as opposed to some kind of informality. Then again, we really aren't playing for much so what is a "must win" this year?

A W would be nice, but this team has far exceeded my expectations for the season. I thought getting to 15 wins would be an accomplishment for this team, so every win IMHO from here on out is gravy. Couldn't be more proud of the team or the coaches, the way they've carried themselves and competed this year.

Well this season without a tourney, every game should be treated as a must win. Its the attitude of the middle finger in a permanent position. Just like Ohio State.

Yeah this is a huge opportunity for a win against a team of similar talent.........with a Cuse team who will be real tough to beat with the way our guys are shooting the ball, this could as someone pointed out put us at 4 out 5 or begin a tough spiral.........despite the tough travel for the squad I expect them to come out flying especially after the last 2 1st halves!!!
