Is Moriah likely to leave college as the best Uconn PG ever?

She won the Lieberman award twice, so somebody thought she was, if only part time.

I'm no Lieberman, but if anyone with half vison and like to watch basketball would clearly pick MO! :p

The Way MO steals the ball should be counted 2 steals because how she did it, how it ended, and how much it shift the momentum of the game....:p:D Another word her steal is like a Mike Tyson knock out.

Yes, Moriah, "the wind" puts on a show, the greatest show in wcbb. And it's not a matter of being showy, like doing a dunk. I don't expect we'll see her dunk, although with Mo you never know. Her show is all done in the course of getting the team to a win. How many days until First Night?

Big difference is that Mo plays with all time greats like Stewart and KML. DT is so far ahead in that respect. Nobody commanded the other teams attention like DT (not even Maya).

As far as pure point goes, obviously Mo is better. But as a player, she's not on DT's level.

But as a player, she's not on DT's level.[/QUOTE] And not many are! I will say though they were and are both a joy to watch. :D I like and use stats as many do but they can be misleading and often never include the stats of the opponents or the cast a player is surrounded with. Another thing I think most have not noticed is how much the game and the talent level has evolved in the last 20 years. Not saying the woman can mirror the men's game and I would not want them to but the ball handling, shot blocking and overall skills are way beyond what they were just a short time ago.
I loved watching them all and they all brought something different to the table. I will say though I don't think we ever had one that could take the D outlet pass head up the floor at break-neck speed, come to a semi stop, cross over dribble between the legs at mid court, leaving the defender with her shorts down and in two steps be back to full speed and go the hoop, ignoring the of the size of the gate keepers waiting.
I love the fact we get one more season of watching that. :)

I don't know about "the best," but clearly she can do some things that none of her predecessors did. She is probably the best defender among our elite PGs and uses her quickness and speed to simply take over games. Plus, her shooting percentage is at the KML/EDD/Maya level. It's off the charts for PGs. I think Skylar won a Lieberman by shooting 20 percentage points lower, at least from the arc.
