I dislike “nattys” myself. Makes a huge accomplishment sound like one of the cheapest beers you can consume.I’ll just add another potential derail by saying I absolutely hate when people call National Championships “chips”
This is so obvious .. winning three championships is marvelous and he has helped a bit in the first, quite a bit in the second and quite likely quite a bit if he wins number three but at no time did I ever feel he was the go to guy on that specific team ... he has gotten closer as he got further into his UConn career but he was never the Caron or Ray or Rip ... he was a really solid and critical member but not THE MAN ... there's nothing wrong with that and we have been lucky to have himMost decorated player, yes.
Best Husky ever, no.

He would have one more than Laettner
What I would have said about Alex has been stated by a bunch already in this thread.
I do agree that it’s always a good time to clown on Cuse…

Thank you for this. It makes my skin crawl for some reason.
Sounds like a coupla chaps who never won a chip
Referring to people as “chaps” if you’re American is probably up there too.
Perhaps his butt is a little chapped?Sounds like someone’s a cranky yankee today!!
He is already worthy of being in The Ring of Honor. He has done enough. For my money, Alcindor was the best college hoops player I remember. I am too young to recall Chamerlain at Kansas but I have read of his greatness.Huskies of Honor, yes IMHO. GOAT no.
